It’s a typical question as it’s a question of many who go through a bad phase of life and suffer from things which they never expected and they end up saying why it happened to me or why it was meant to happen with me.
Why do bad things happen to good people
Each and every passing day we see there are terrorist’s attacks, natural disaster, and crimes taking places at different countries and places in which a number of people die including infants who have hardly known this world. The first question which strikes in our mind is what their mistake was and we get disheartened.
When you have an explanation the pain inside you gets digested.
For an example, you hear a boy screaming with pain in a hospital and you find his parents are having a normal reaction on their faces and you ask what’s wrong with them and they say their child is having a cavity in his teeth’s so he is screaming. After that, you get a reason for his pain and it gets genuine for you.

Similar to this if we are able to know the reason of people suffering from worse and we get capable to rationalize disasters, then we could live with it. We will not get dishearten on seeing people dying in pain. We would be able to tolerate seeing people with shattered lives and broken hearts.

Looking through spiritual position and principles of reincarnation, we should see life with a broader perspective – not of 1 temporary time period, that is nothing quite a flash in time, however from the position of eternity. With this broader vision, we will perceive however every people individual souls is alone to blame for what happens in our life. Until the time we are unable to explain pain we have to attenuate it.
