You might simply log in to your inbox from the home page. Access to the inbox was made easier with the introduction of Outlook.com, and you no longer need to use a hack to get to it. Here's how to get into your Hotmail account, which is now known as Outlook.com.

- Select Sign in from the Outlook.com sign-in screen.
- Select Next after entering your email address or phone number.
- **Enter your password and click Sign in** on the following screen.

If you wish to save your password and access your mailbox straight the next time, select the Keep me signed in box. On public or shared computers, however, this option is not recommended.
