# How do I set parental controls on my Netflix account?

- Go to Your Account in a web browser and scroll down **to Profile & Parental [Controls](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/66/how-to-create-controls-at-run-time-in-csharp-dot-net).**
- Click the drop-down arrow next to your main account profile, then click Change and enter your Netflix password next to Profile Lock.
- Set your four-digit PIN after checking the box to require a PIN to access this profile. Naturally, you'll want to select one that your child will not be able to guess.
- Check the box to make adding new profiles require a PIN. (Please keep in mind that this option is only available after you've added a Profile Lock PIN to your account's main profile, which is the first one on the list.)
