## Answers

### Answer by Hitesh Vohra

By connecting all systems to a central node, star topology reduces the likelihood of network failure. All transmissions received from any peripheral node are rebroadcast to all peripheral nodes on the network, including the originating node. Thus, all peripheral nodes can communicate with all others by only transmitting to and receiving from the central node The **star network** is used to transmit data between network nodes via the central hub. When a packet arrives at the hub, it is transferred to all nodes connected via a hub, but only one node at a time successfully transmits it.\
