- At the entry level, **Intel processors** are less expensive than **AMD processors.** At the higher end, AMD processors are less expensive than Intel processors.
- It may become hot if used with a Clock Speed Boost of 14nm. AMD processors run cooler than Intel processors due to their tiny lithography.
- Intel processors are far more efficient than AMD processors. AMD processors are inefficient when compared to Intel processors.
- Intel's clock speed can reach and even exceed 5.0 GHz.
- AMD processors' clock speeds could exceed 5.0 GHz. However, in this case, it produces more heat.
- Intel's symmetric multiprocessing technology is capable of supporting up to four sockets and 28 cores. AMD's symmetric multiprocessing technology is capable of supporting up to eight sockets and 128 cores.
