If you accidentally [deleted](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/160487/how-to-remove-the-deleted-git-code-marker-in-scrollbar-in-visual-studio-2022) a software, you will need to perform a system restore to return it to its original state. Click **on 'Start,'** then 'Help and Support Center,' where you will see a 'System Restore' option. You will now be able to restore the system in order to recover the deleted programme.

**System Restore** is a Windows recovery utility that allows you to undo some modifications made to the operating system. Consider it a 'undo' feature for the most crucial components of Windows.

Only Windows files are affected when you restore your machine to a prior state. That type of data is usually to blame for problems that force you to utilise System Restore.
