The menu system within the camera assembly of **OSD (On Screen Display) cameras** can be used to set functions such as Iris levels, AGC on/off, and most features of regular and advanced cameras. (On-Screen Display) Adjust monitors, TVs, and cameras with an on-screen control interface. The OSD is used to fine-tune display parameters such as contrast and brightness on monitors and televisions. It is used to specify settings such as frame rate and resolution for cameras.

- It's a built-in on-screen menu that can be accessed from within the camera to modify settings that affect how the camera processes images.
- Static cameras without an OSD are mostly used as plug-and-play cameras. You can install these cameras and then plug them in to complete the setup.
- If you're pointing this camera at a window or in a location with poor illumination, though, you'll have problems.
- You may alter functions like exposure, ACG, Iris Levels, shutter speed, white balance, back light compensation, and more through the camera's OSD menu.
