- **Yes, there is a metaverse.** But not in the way that it could be in the future: scalable, continuous, and networked. Some essential parts, though, are already in place. Massive crowds may already congregate in virtual surroundings thanks to today's internet infrastructure, as seen when Fortnite sponsored a virtual reality concert featuring Travis Scott for more than 12.3 million gamers. You may be familiar with the term 'metaverse,' which refers to a wide range of items that are currently regarded 'metaversal.'
- In films such as The Matrix and Ready Player One, different versions of the notion have been imagined. You'll have a hard time finding an online platform that doesn't allow you to construct a virtual identity or inventory.
