Visual, auditory, and kinetic exchanges occur as we interact in the physical environment. The Metaverse platform is thought to facilitate digital collaboration by providing a similar experience in the digital world.
- Extended reality (VR, AR, and BCI) technologies are gaining traction as metaverse computing platforms.
- Although the term 'metaverse' has become widely used, there are still many alternative ways to conceptualise and define it.
- The technologies we use to access the metaverse will shape it, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and brain-computer interfaces (BCI).
