- Blockchain is decentralised, there is no single location where it may be stored. As a result, it's stored on computers and systems all throughout the network. Nodes are the systems or computers that make up the network. Each node has a copy of the blockchain, which contains all of the network's transactions.
- **The blockchain can be stored as a database or as a flat file.**
- Blockchain storage is a method of storing data in a decentralised network that makes use of idle hard disc space from people all over the world. The decentralised architecture is a viable alternative to centralised cloud storage and can address many of the issues that plague centralised systems.
