It is available in Apple Retail Stores in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States in cellular-enabled versions of its iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 5, and iPad Pro tablets, as well as Apple Watch Series 3 and later series.
- The Apple SIM provides wireless services from a variety of carriers, which may be selected from a user interface within iOS and watchOS, eliminating the need to install a carrier-provided SIM. While Apple did not mention the function when introducing the iPad models that come with Apple SIM, promotional materials on the company's website describe it as aimed at customers of short-term mobile Internet contracts with several carriers.
