- For VOIP calls, **all [iPad models](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97379/do-all-the-regular-ipad-models-have-a-camera-how-many-megapixels-is-each) [support Skype](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/103580/which-devices-support-skype) as well as other apps.**
- The first iPad devices, the iPad (Wi-Fi) and iPad (Wi-Fi/3G/A-GPS), however, lack a webcam and so cannot be used for video conferencing. All future iPad models include an inbuilt webcam and offer video communication via Skype and other apps.
- The iPad's internet access makes it a great device for VoIP calling, which allows calls from and to an iPad to be initiated and received via the internet.
