- **Flash** is no longer alive, this is practically a non-issue. However, when the [**iPad**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97374/how-to-clear-the-cache-on-an-ipad) was originally released, it caused some users to be concerned.
- Because the iPad models do not support Flash, websites that rely on it for navigation or content will not work on the tablet. Apple was opposed to Flash's performance (as well as its ideology), preferring instead that video websites transition to HTML5.
- While just a few iPad models feature dedicated LED flash hardware, the front-facing flash can be used on most Apple tablets released in the last few years. A True Tone LED flash unit is positioned beside the rear cameras on all iPad Pros except the original edition.
