- Every embedded system's brain is known as the **[CPU](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97164/explain-the-functions-of-the-cu-and-alu-in-the-cpu-of-a-computer).** The arithmetic logic unit (ALU) is used to swiftly store data and do computations, whereas the Control Unit (CU) is used to perform instruction sequencing and branching. For performing instructions, the CPU interacts with other computer components such as memory, input, and output.
- In computer games, the graphics processing unit **(GPU)** is used to generate the pictures. GPUs are faster than CPUs, with a focus on high throughput. It's usually included with electronic equipment to share RAM with other electronic equipment that's suitable for the primary computing work. There are more ALU units than CPU units in it.
