### Answer by Hitesh Vohra

- A **hardwired control** is a method of generating control signals by appropriately employing Finite State Machines (FSM). It's made in the form of a sequential logic circuit. The final circuit is built by physically connecting the gates, flip flops, and drums. As a result, it's known as a hardwired controller.
- Hardwired control units have the following characteristics:
- Combinal circuits are used in hardwired control units.
- The inputs and transforms are converted into control signals in these [**systems**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97169/what-is-system-bus-explain-a-few-related-terms).
- These units are recognised for being speedier and having a more complicated construction.
