- The following are the **IBM POST beep codes:**
- 1 short beep: This shows that the POST was completed successfully with no errors.
- 2 short beeps: An error has occurred, and the notice has been displayed on the screen.
- No beep: No power or disconnection is indicated.
- Constant beeping: This indicates a problem with the power supply, motherboard, or keyboard.
- A single lengthy and one brief beep indicates an issue with the mother / system board.
- One long sound followed by two short beeps suggests a display adapter problem.
