- I**nternet Protocol Configuration** is abbreviated as ipconfig. This command displays all of the computer's current TCP/IP network configuration values. In the Microsoft Windows operating system, the ipconfig command is primarily used. However, React OS and Apple [**Mac**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/49868/how-to-change-default-pdf-application-in-mac-os-x) OS both support it.
- **ifconfig stands for Interface Configuration**. This command is similar to ipconfig in that it displays all of the computer's current TCP/IP network setup values. In a Unix-like operating system, the ifconfig command is primarily utilised. Only the enabled configurations of networking devices currently connected to the system are displayed by the ifconfig command.
