- Within a data transmission [**network**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96419/what-does-outside-your-network-mean-in-linkedin), a node is a point of intersection/connection. These gadgets are all regarded **nodes** in an environment where all devices are connected to the network. The sort of network to which each node refers determines its individual definition.
- Information is created, received, and communicated by nodes, which then stores or relays it to other nodes. In a computer network, for example, a scanner creates images and delivers them to a computer, whereas a router organises data received from the internet and distributes it to the network's different devices.
