## Answers

### Answer by Hitesh Vohra

- The maximum shelf life of **pure lead batteries is 8.2 years**. Lead acid batteries have a shorter cycle life than other rechargeables. A lead acid battery typically has a life lifetime of 200 cycles.
- For non-rechargeable batteries, alkaline is the most prevalent chemical. Its run time is determined by the device in which it is utilised, hence the answer to the question of run time is that it varies. When maintained at normal temperature, alkaline batteries have a shelf life of 5-10 years, according to most manufacturers.
- Carbon-zinc batteries are the non-rechargeable battery's redheaded stepchild. They are less expensive, however they also have less capacity and have been known to leak due to thin walls in the past. These batteries have no cycle life as well. The product has a three-year shelf life.
- Lithium non-rechargeable batteries, like all other non-rechargeables, have no cycle life. Lithium non-rechargeable batteries, in our experience, should last 10-12 years.
