Owners of previous iPhones, such as the iPhone X series, will benefit from the iPhone 12's superior A14 Bionic chip and OLED display.
- The LCD display of the iPhone 11 has definitely been the Achilles' heel of Apple's entry-level premium iPhones in recent years, but that is no longer the case with the iPhone 12. All of this is attributable to a new 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display that matches the iPhone 12 Pro's.
- The iPhone 12's shortcomings become brutally clear as we zoom in on that fountain off to the right. Optical zoom isn't available on the iPhone 12; you'll have to upgrade to the iPhone 12 Pro or Pro Max to get it.
