- Only previously saved [files](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23302/the-importance-and-advantage-of-keeping-your-important-files-on-the-cloud) on a disc, such as a hard drive, are affected by the procedures below. If you want to save a file to the floppy drive from within a programme, use that application's Save or Save As... function.
- Double-click My [**Computer**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50042/how-do-i-delete-data-off-the-computer) on your desktop.
- By double-clicking the drive where the file is located and then browsing to that file, you can find the file you want to transfer to the floppy disc.
- **Insert a floppy disc** into the drive.
- Choose Send To and then 3 1/2 Floppy from the menu that appears when you right-click the file (using the right mouse button).
- The floppy disc will be duplicated with the file.
