It can be used to document a database design and provide important assistance in preserving consistency.
- CASE software can improve the consistency and accuracy of a database design by incorporating many of the approaches used to document a system design, such as the data dictionary, data flows, and entity relationships. It can also make developing the diagrams that go with a system design easier. There are numerous CASE tools available on the market.
