- Yes, the **4GB of RAM** is plenty for running the [**Windows**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50235/what-can-you-do-if-your-windows-stops-responding) 11 operating system. The 4GB RAM is sufficient for running Windows 11 on a technical level. However, many individuals have already installed applications, office suites, and games on their computers, so Windows 11 will not work on those machines.
- So, if you want to install Windows 11 on 4GB RAM, you'll need to clear some space on your computer. If you look at the Windows 11 system requirements, you'll find that some of them have changed from the Windows 10 operating system requirements, but the RAM needs have remained unchanged. For both the Windows ten and Windows 11 operating systems, 4GB RAM is ideal and often recommended.
