**To fix [Windows](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95068/how-do-i-know-the-exact-reason-my-pc-can-t-run-windows-11) 11 installation problems:**

- **Check to see if your device has enough storage.** To update a 32-bit OS, you'll need at least 16 GB of free space, and for a 64-bit OS, you'll need at least 20 GB. See Free up disc space in Windows for further information.
- Run Windows Update a couple times to make sure it's up to current. In Windows Update, download and install any available updates, including software updates, hardware updates, and third-party drivers. To fix Windows 11 Update problems, use the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
- Check for updates to third-party drivers and download them. The manufacturer's website has third-party drivers and installation instructions for any gear you've added to your device.
- Remove any unnecessary hardware. Remove any external storage devices including drives, docks, and other hardware that isn't required for basic functionality from your smartphone.
- Look for faults in Device Manager. Type device manager into the taskbar's search box. From the list of options, select Device Manager. Look for any device with a yellow exclamation mark beside it in the pop-up window (you may have to select each category to switch to the list of devices). To fix the errors, press and hold (or right-click) the device name and choose either Update Driver Software or Uninstall.
- Remove any security software that was installed by a third party. Make sure you know how to reinstall your programmes and that you have any required product keys. In the meanwhile, Windows Defender will help secure your device.
