- If security is a top consideration, upgrade to Windows 11 — If you prefer to stay up to date on security, Windows 11 should be a good fit for you. Security patches for Windows 10 will be available until October 14, 2025.
- Windows 11, on the other hand, was built from the ground up with a stronger security foundation. Windows 11 adds a slew of new features, and Windows 10 won't get the majority, if not all, of them.
