- The **[Microsoft](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95216/how-do-i-fix-a-microsoft-outlook-error-0x80040115) Paint app is not going away,** and it will now be updated and improved through the Windows 10 app store. Microsoft will continue to provide MS Paint for free in the Windows Store and maintain the Paint 3D app in the future to guarantee that all creation tools are available in one place.
- Microsoft has finally released the Paint programme on the Windows Store, where it can be downloaded for free. Paint will receive updates via the Store in future versions of Windows, but it's unclear whether Microsoft will continue to develop it or focus solely on Paint 3D.
