## Steps to create a Macro in word 2013 :

- Click on the **'View Tab'** in your [**Word**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96175/why-does-my-laptop-slow-down-when-i-open-microsoft-word) document.
- Now select 'Record Macro' from the 'Macros drop down list.'
- In the Macro Name text box, type the macro's proper name, then click the 'Keyboard' button to add a shortcut key for the macro (use this shortcut key later to run the macro).
- Enter the shortcut's key combination, such as Alt + Ctrl + O, and then click the **'Assign'** button.
- Now write the text you'll be repeating.
- You must 'Stop recording Macros' after finishing the text; to do so, go to the 'View' Tab and select 'Stop recording' from the Macros group. You can also 'stop' the macro and restart it later.
- You can now use the shortcut key or the **'Run'** option in the macros drop down list to run the recorded macro.
