- Taking a **screenshot** in [**Word**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95103/how-do-i-convert-a-pdf-to-word-without-formatting) is actually rather simple. To take a screenshot, go to the Insert tab and click the Screenshot button. You'll be greeted with a thumbnail image of each Window that is currently active. Simply click on one of the thumbnails to have it inserted into your current document.
- It's never been easier to get a good screenshot of a specific Window.
- Instead of clicking on a thumbnail, you can use the more accurate Screen Clipping option to capture a specific region on the screen.
- Once you've chosen the region of the screen you want to record, it will be automatically added to your document.
