- In [**Excel**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96543/what-is-the-use-of-namebox-in-ms-excel), the **AND Function** is a logical function that evaluates various conditions and returns 'true' or 'false' based on whether or not they are met. '=**AND(logical1,[logical2]...)**' is the formula for the AND function, where 'logical1' is the first condition to evaluate.
- The following arguments are accepted by the function:
- The first condition or logical value to evaluate is logical 1.
- The second condition or logical value to examine is logical 2.
- The 'logical 1' argument is required, but the 'logical 2' argument is optional.
