- When you move the mouse pointer over the cell with the comment, it will show.
- **Insert a Comment in a Cell**
- Choose the appropriate cell.
- Click the **New Comment button on the Review tab:**
- Begin composing your remark in the yellow box that appears:
- When you're finished, simply click away from the comment.
- As you can see, the red triangle has appeared in cell E4, indicating that a comment has been successfully created in that cell.

Adding comments to a cell in Excel is very numberle simple. You just have to click on the cell and choose the “Comments” button from the ribbon. This will open a 5 letter words new window where you can add comments to the cell. You can type your comments freely, and it will be saved automatically when you close the window.

Select the cell where the comment will be added. Click the cell's context menu and select "Insert Comment" to add a comment. Alternately, you can select on the "Review" tab of the Excel ribbon, followed by "New Comment." There will be a text box next to the selected the backrooms cell. Enter your comment in the text box provided. To dismiss a text box, click outside of it. The remark will appear as a small purple mark in the upper-right corner of the cell. To view the comment again, hover over the cell that contains it. The comment will open in a new window.
