- Adam D'Angelo, cofounder and **CEO of Quora,** began his career as Chief Technology Officer at [**Facebook**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96361/what-should-be-the-facebook-video-ad-length). Investors have valued Quora at $900 million. Its goal is to make information exchange easier. In 2009, D'Angelo and Charlie Cheever, a former Facebook employee, launched their question-and-answer website.
- In March 2016, Quora hit 100 million monthly users, and in October, it debuted Quora en español ('in Spanish'). D'Angelo met Mark Zuckerberg at the prestigious boarding school Philips Exeter Academy, and later joined Facebook when the firm relocated from Harvard to Palo Alto, California, in 2004.
- People from all around the world come to Quora to ask questions of a community of experts.
- **Google's business is to display webpages** that provide answers to questions.
- One of the reasons Google ranks Quora so well is that it answers inquiries. They're a perfect, symbiotic match.
