- If you already have a Skype or Microsoft account, follow these steps.
- Open Skype and tap or click the Skype name, email address, or phone number.
- **Sign in** with your Skype name, email, or phone number.
- To proceed, enter your password and pick the arrow. You've successfully signed into Skype.
- Note: When you close Skype or sign out and opt to remember your account settings, Skype will store your sign in credentials.
- If you don't already have a Skype or Microsoft account, follow these steps:
- Download Skype by going to Skype.com in your browser. To create a new account, open Skype and click or tap Create new account.
