- **Ticks on Telegram** also indicate whether a message has been read, but they work differently than on WhatsApp.
- While the programme is transmitting your message, you'll notice a clock indicator in Telegram. If your message was successfully transmitted to the server, this will convert into a single check mark.
- Finally, **two check marks on Telegram** indicate that the other person has seen the new message and has opened your discussion.
- The Telegram service has no way of knowing whether your message was delivered to a specific device. It makes no sense to have a delivered status.
