- If you can't download or upgrade **WhatsApp** from the Google Play Store, one of the following error codes is most likely to blame:
- 'There isn't enough room on the gadget.' Tap Apps & notifications > Google Play Store > App details > **Storage > CLEAR CACHE i**n your device's Settings. Clear your data by tapping CLEAR DATA > OK.
- Restart your device, then try again to install WhatsApp.
- 'This app will not run on your Android device.'
- 'You are unable to purchase this item because it is not available in your country.'
- Delete data and programmes that you don't use anymore.
- Transfer your files and apps to an external SD card.
