- The **bot** is one of several methods that [**Reddit**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96099/how-do-people-make-money-by-karma-farming-on-reddit) users have been using to combat hate speech on the internet. It was rather simple to get the bot up and running, and it only took a few hours.
- It's more likely to be a **bot if the recent comments are fairly similar** to one other (the average difference ratio is large). They're more likely to be a troll if their comments are dissimilar, their comment karma is low, and their link karma is high.
- Bots are thought to account for well over half of all web traffic, although they are still a little-studied topic in human-computer interaction. The results of an examination of 2284 submissions across three Reddit discussion groups dedicated to the request, creation, and debate of bots are presented in this research.
