Users regularly use Imgur links to effectively share image uploads and comments on Reddit, and Reddit links to bring visitors to further discussions of material.
- Reddit photos may absorb page views, leading to more site browsing, which the site monetizes with native adverts. Meanwhile, **Imgur** may lose out on ad money and page views.
- In comparison to Imgur's 20MB image and 200MB GIF restrictions, Reddit will accept images up to 20MB and GIFs up to 100MB.
