- **Benefits**
- The ability to communicate with others using your voice. This is something you should anticipate as a business or personal brand.
- Put yourself in a position to meet others who think and care about the same things you do.
- Develop a reputation as a thinking leader. It's now or never for you to make a name for yourself. It's your moment to prove to your audience that you know what you're talking about.
- Obtain new business. Some people are unconcerned about this. Others, on the other hand, discover that they can engage with potential clients, resulting in a direct influence on their bottom line.
- **Drawbacks** If your AMA becomes viral, you may be inundated with inquiries. Do you have enough time to deal with everything that comes your way?
- There is no one there. Just because you start an AMA doesn't guarantee that others will join in.
- Your audience may disagree with your ideas and responses. This is all part of the process, but you should be prepared for it. Make sure you've given yourself plenty of time to consider your responses.
