The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008 is amended. This bill was tabled in **Lok Sabha** during this year's budget session in March 2021. It was then forwarded to the **Standing Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Culture,** which issued its findings on July 22, 2021. Cities often have a single civilian airport that offers all aeronautical facilities in the region. These operations comprise **air traffic control, aircraft landing and parking, and ground handling**. As a result, airports have **natural privileges in the area.** \
