# I can't open the Chrome browser after installing the new Microsoft Edge browser on my Windows 10 PC. What should I do?

## Steps to fix it:

- **Check to check if [Chrome](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94847/why-is-my-phone-not-able-to-play-videos-on-the-chrome-browser-while-on-youtube-the-videos-are-playing-at-720p) is open, and if it is, force it to close.-**. On your keyboard, press 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'Del.' Select 'Task Manager' from the drop-down menu. If 'Google Chrome' or 'chrome.exe' is listed under 'Processes,' select it and then click 'End process.'
- **Unknown applications should be deleted.-**Launch Chrome. Select 'Settings' from the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.. From the left-hand menu, choose 'Advanced.' Select 'Clean up computer' from the 'Reset and clean up' menu.. Select 'Find' from the drop-down menu. When requested to uninstall undesirable software, select 'Remove.'
- Start your computer again.
- **Chrome should be uninstalled and reinstalled.**-Chrome can be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix a variety of issues, including issues with your search engine, Flash, pop-ups, updates, and other issues that prevent Chrome from opening.
