**[Inmarsat-6 F1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inmarsat-6_F1)** is a communications satellite developed and built by **Airbus Defence and Space on the Eurostar 3000EOR** satellite bus for the **British satellite operator Inmarsat.** It will be Inmarsat's first dual-payload spacecraft, with operations in both **L-band and Ka-band**, and will be part of the **Inmarsat-6 satellite fleet**. As the first of two such spacecraft, it was put into super synchronous transfer orbit on 22 **[December](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95373/what-is-the-name-of-the-40-day-period-of-harsh-winter-in-kashmir-that-begins-december-21-and-ends-on-january-31)** 2021, claiming to be the largest and most advanced corporate telecommunications satellite ever launched.
