> **In Jammu and Kashmir, the NITI Aayog intends to create 1000 Atal Tinkering Laboratories.**

By the conclusion of the fiscal year 2021-22, 187 of the 1000 **Atal Tinkering Laboratories** will have been constructed. Out of 187 ATLs, 31 will be created in [**government**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95884/jammu-kashmir-government-has-partnered-with-which-country-to-transform-the-sheep-farming-sector) schools in **J&K,** while the remaining 50 would be **built in other public universities including as KVs, JNVs, and private [institutions](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/37266/which-institutions-organisations-are-headed-by-the-prime-minister-of-india).** \
