The **National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Amendment) [Bill](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95939/which-union-ministry-is-associated-with-the-dam-safety-bill-2019-passed-recently)** was just enacted by **Parliament**. It seeks to elevate 6 more centers of pharmaceutical research and teaching in **Ahmedabad, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Raebareli** to the rank of 'institute of national importance.' It also intends to form an advising committee for them. \

## The Institute's key goals are as follows:
