Some USB gadgets generate a wireless signal that can interfere with your connection. USB hubs, for example, can deactivate the Wi-Fi interface. A plugged-in Ethernet cable can block your Wi-Fi connection in a similar way. - If your Wi-Fi keeps dropping or disconnecting after you've tried the first two steps, try resetting the parameter Random Access Memory (PRAM) / Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) and the System Management Controller (SMC). - To turn off your Mac fully, press and hold the power button. You should wait until the screen is completely dark and the fans have stopped spinning before proceeding. At this point, you can restart your Mac. - Hold down the **Command + Option + P + R keys** until the startup process and sound appear.
