- **Chrome and Firefox should be restarted.-**This is arguably the most fundamental and initial step you should do. Whether the problem is in Chrome or Firefox, you can always fix it simply restarting the browser.
- **Remove any extensions and add-ons from your browser.-**It could be the culprit if your browser has ceased functioning properly after installing an add-on or extension. A faulty extension might cause a variety of issues, including this one. As a result, this is a very useful method for resolving the not responding problem.
- **Clear your browser's cookies, cache, and history.-**Cookies, cache, and other items can cause major issues in the browser, causing users to be unable to open them without latency or other issues. As a result, delete your cache, cookies, and browsing history. It has the potential to fix the issue. If you can open the browser in any way, you should use this method- To open the History tab, **press Ctrl + H** and select the 'Clear browsing data option. Now go to the Advanced menu and choose whatever you want. As a result, select 'All time' from the Time range drop-down menu and click the 'Clear data button.
- Allow the app through the firewall Disable any firewall or anti-malware software that was recently installed.
