- **Close Firefox and then open it again.** To exit Firefox, press the 'Command' and 'q' keys simultaneously. Alternatively, you can pick Quit Firefox from the menu bar by clicking Firefox. If Firefox isn't responding, force it to close. Select Firefox and then click Force Quit by pressing 'Option,' 'Command,' and 'Esc (Escape)' together (or select the Force Quit option from the Apple menu). Then reopen Firefox and run a test to see whether the problem persists.
- **Restart your computer.-**Sometimes all you need to do is restart your Mac.
- **Keep an eye out for new information.-**Make sure you're using the most recent versions of macOS and Firefox: Go to System Preferences and Software Update to get the newest version of macOS. Then follow the directions on the screen.
- **Delete the program and reinstall it.-**Simply uninstall the application from your Mac. To remove Firefox for Mac, go to the Applications folder, pick Firefox, and drag it to the Trash
