- **Check for malware and adjust your antivirus.-**It's conceivable that Chrome isn't opening because of your antivirus software or malicious software.
- **Check to see if your computer's antivirus or other software has banned [Chrome](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95594/how-do-i-fix-my-firefox-browser).** Chrome may be affected by an application or process presently operating on your computer. You might try restarting your computer to see if it resolves the issue.
- If none of the preceding methods worked, we recommend **uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.** Chrome can be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix issues with your search engine, pop-ups, updates, and other issues that have prevented Chrome from launching.
- Extensions should be uninstalled and reinstalled. One of your Chrome extensions could be causing an issue. Remove all extensions, then reinstall them one by one.
