Safari has a number of advantages as Apple's default browser, including built-in functionality to store your bookmarks and browsing history in iCloud, as well as your usernames and passwords in iCloud Keychain, making it simple to log in and synchronize your browsing across all of your Apple devices. You won't be able to view all of your iCloud data in your browser if you use a Windows PC. Apple used to build a version of Safari for Windows many years ago, but the Windows version was quietly abandoned by Apple.
