- If a page won't load or won't open, try reloading it: **Select View > Reload Page or press Command-R to reload the page**. If it doesn't work, quit Safari with Command-Q, then reopen it and try again. If Safari refuses to close, press Option-Command-Esc to force it to close.
- The first step is to check your internet connection to ensure that it is active and enabled. This is true for Macs, iPhones, iPads, and pretty much anything else.
- If your device or computer is not connected to the internet, you will always get the message '[Safari](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95543/why-does-safari-keep-crashing-on-an-iphone) Can't **Open the Page.' First, make sure you have an active and functioning internet connection; this is frequently the cause of problems**. Check sure your internet truly works, whether it's due to poor cell phone reception or a sluggish wi-fi connection. Other websites can be loaded, services can be used, and so on.
