Follow these steps on your [**iPhone**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50471/how-to-fix-unresponsive-display-problem-on-iphone-x) or iPad to disable Background auto Refreshing:

1. **Go to the Settings menu.**
2. **Select General.**
3. **Refresh** the background app.
4. Toggle off Background App Refresh completely; you can also set it to refresh an app only when connected to Wi-Fi or when connected to Wi-Fi and Cellular Data.
