The **Digital University Kerala (DUK)** and the **Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET)** in Thrissur will establish India's first graphene [**innovation**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/52061/who-has-been-honored-with-lifetime-achievement-award-2019-during-4th-apj-abdul-kalam-innovation-conclave-mohali) center for Rs 86.41 crore in Kerala. This will be the country's first graphene **Research and [Development](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95474/which-state-ut-got-national-level-awards-for-covid-19-management-panchayat-development-index-at-24th-national-conference-on-e-governance-held-at-hyderabad) (R&D)** incubation facility. **Tata Steel Limited** might be the center's industrial member. \
